Sophie Kasser: Director, performer and teacher, Sophie is a multidisciplinary and polyglot artist interested in the expressivity of the human body, working through investigation and collaborative devising processes. Born in Switzerland, active professionally in London and now in Barcelona since 2004, she likes trusting the intuitive body, creating and proposing works which provoke a visual and sensitive experience for the public. She co-founded Cia Moveo and Moveo centre in Barcelona, with which she is performing, directing, producing and touring internationally award winning shows and projects. In recent years she has specialized in directing and guiding artists in residencies and in training programs. Her experience as well as her passion for disciplines such as theatre, dance and circus has led her to lead projects for a variety of international entities.
