Sophie Kasser: Performer, director and teacher, Sophie is a multidisciplinary artist interested in the expressivity of the human body, working through investigation and collaborative devising processes. Born in Switzerland, active professionally in London and now in Barcelona since 2004, she likes trusting the intuitive body, creating and proposing works which provoke a visual and sensitive experience for the public. After being a member of the company Theatre de l’Ange Fou in London, she co-founded Cia Moveo and Moveo centre in Barcelona, with which she is performing, directing, producing and touring internationally award winning shows and projects. In recent years she has specialized in directing and guiding artists in residencies and in training programs. Her experience as well as her passion for disciplines such as theatre, dance and circus has led her to lead projects for a variety of international entities. Sophie is a regular teacher at Dance Professional Conservatory and Circus School Rogelio Rivel, all in Barcelona.
